I'm currently running Ubuntu Edgy and Fiesty and unless I'm missing the point too, there's still no reverse listen on the native linux TightVNC viewer. This page http://www.tightvnc.com/whatsnew.html http://www.tightvnc.com/whatsnew.html seems to confirm it. However I've found that the Win32 TightVNC runs fine on Ubuntu using WINE, and I recommend that approach when running TightVNC. You can either create a launcher, or just run it and select the 8bit mode and then Listen from the TightVNC viewer GUI.
