This bug is about applications not starting on the right screen, the other
is specificly on loading.
Please don't simply try to close off bugs, although I know that is

I have the same problem on my ThinkPad X61 Tablet.

AS Linux Mint RC 7 AND 9.04 came out close together, I went ahead and tried
both to see what issue...
9.04 -->Flicker as mentioned above
LM RC7 --> Issue occurs MUCH less frequently
RE-INSTALLED 9.04 --> Same flicker as reported
BACK to LMRC7 --> again, issue occurs much less freq
with the above xorg

so I don't know if the mouse is moving.
I turned off the UXA mode, and I did not get that anymore.

I did have the same problem on my Dell M1330 running Jaunty (with nvidia
180.44), which was upgraded all the way from Gutsy. The fan was very
noisy, starting and stopping very often. GPU temperature was high
nevertheless.
There was no problem while still running Intrepid (BIOS A12).
