I run Window Selector to move Firefox 3.5.3 to another workspace. This made my
computer to freeze. I could only move the mouse cursor. But clicking on any
button has no effect. Ctrl+Alt+F1 has no effect. Alt+SysRq+K produced a black
display screen
We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the
original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to
reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against
the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirm

afaik, it happens in physical machines too... I saw it in Ubuntu forums,
a dude saying his Ubuntu Karmic is not booting into X anymore.

The openchrome driver loads without problem, but will not
use 1024x600 which is the ownly display mode know to supported
by the posh book P10.

I think this is actually a bug with Totem, since after the upgrade,
totem's configuration is screwed up, and totem changes the HUE... it's
not an nvidia issue. Can the bug be moved to an issue with totem.

That doesn't sound like it's the same bug. For instance, I see this bug
any more.
There can be more than one cause for why X would crash on startup, and this one
has most likely been fixed.

I tried suspend in Ubuntu 9.10 beta. Suspended successfully, but resume
ended in console with full of errors.
