I have the Dell E6510 with Nvidia 3100M, and when using the 10.04 64-bit

simply sits blank.
Does anyone know of an official solution coming from ubuntu? Will they
be updating the 10.04 distro with this issue addressed?

Unfortunately, I have to report that I have something similar happening since
updating to 10.04 (final) on my hp tablet tx1400us. The touchpad or keyboard
will randomly stop working.
When the keyboard stopped working, it still recognized the ctrl+alt+del
sequence, but not ctrl+alft+f1. I don't
I have done a regression test, and the last release that works fine is 6.12.4.
From 6.12.191 up, xorg log produces the aforementioned PLL error.
But let me explain further:
I was trying to upgrade only because with X700 at full clock, this laptop's
fan is spinning almost all the time, even when
I have a similar problem since upgrading to 10.04 (final) with a Nvidia
GeForce Go 6150. The problem only occurs when booting from battery. It
boots fine when the AC cord is in. It can still boot in failsafe mode on
battery. When booting regularly on battery, I get a black screen and
nothing
Let me know if there is any information I can provide you.

Hi b,
This bug was reported against an earlier version of Ubuntu, can you
test if it still occurs on Lucid?

I upgraded from Ubuntu 9.10 to Ubuntu 10.04.
The touchpad worked fine for a while, but then odd things started
happening. Occasionally I would get this problem where the right-click

Ok, I figured out that those problems only occurred after I pressed the
touchpad on/off button.
If I press this button, the keyboard becomes unresponsive and for some reason I
can't do anything except left-click on tasks in the taskbar using the mouse

Hi. I can see this also. Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and DDD 3.3.11.
Steps to reproduce:
1) start DDD
2) open some executive in DDD for tracing
3) select view - data window
4) right click inside the data window area.

I'm not quite sure if this will work for every setup. In my case the lines I
had to remove have been in /usr/lib32/ so I guess the command would then be
dpkg-divert --remove /usr/lib32/libgl.so.1.2 (I haven't tried it since I've
edited var/lib/dpkg/diversions manually)
