Could someone clarify here, is all the above saying that it is known
that the mouse sensitivity setting does nothing and that to make it do
something is a wishlist item rather than a bug? Seeing this on 11.04
and 11.10.

Hey,
Sorry for the late response. I was on an extended vacation. I won't have
physical access to the computer for a few hours, and because of this bug I'm
currently still running Ubuntu 10.10. However, I ssh'd into the computer
and managed to run the search command you provided on Sunday.

I use a secondary monitor with extended desktop but I'd like to have my
thunderbird's and empathy's notifications on my primary monitor (the one with
the launchbar) otherwise I miss a lot of them.
The best it'd be to have it customizable to have notification for example on

Chase, that's not likely, mark said that the g-s-d keybinding to turn
the touchpad on and off was "working" but that didn't restore the

This still happens. Every couple of days, I need to disable and enable

The cursor seems to get worse. Where a few months ago I had a cursor that
sometimes would show as a lefty crystal cursor, today that doesn't happen any
more. It is exclusively righthanded. Until 18 months ago, I had a nice
lefthanded cursor. I use ubuntu classic.

Public bug reported:
It seems like the window manager (or the window system, I'll admit I
haven't quite understood the distinction yet) crashed, but I don't
really know what happened. The windows were still showing, but the
Unity-menu, the top-panel, and all the "frames" of the windows
disappeared
