Unity launcher corruption on resume from
None of the mentioned kernel solve the problem, even the latest

After loading the latest kernel drivers the intel 915 series driver and
display on my Dell e6410 Laptop is blank.. Luckily i can attach an
external monitor which works. The difference is the external monitor is

This looks like potentially the EDID is corrupted. According to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_display_identification_data the
first 8 bytes should be 00ff ff00, however we see the first 8
bytes in the dmesg showing all 0xff. So the difference is 0xff+ 0xff =

CTRL+f shortcut
Another note - if I had music player running right before suspend it resumes to
playback music right after I woke up my PC (I mean at least very soon like few
seconds). Though screen is black for next say 30 seconds with only mouse cursor
visible and moving with mouse movements.

My intuos4 worked perfectly fine until the day the unstable multitouch code was
included in the ubuntu xserver (and qt) code.
That gave me problems with my tablet till this very day. Inbetween this period
