I experimented various freezes/lockups with 12.10 but with Oneiric 11.10 and even Lucid LTS ( 10.04) too since a recent upgrade ! I had less problems since I upgrade firefox ( another deceptive one ) 14.01 and now 15... but it is another story... It is really a shame... I agree with Hein (#130)
