Mouse freezes from time to time.

It appears the combination of a large desktop (multiple monitors), the
nvidia driver, and Unity is the problem. Obviously we should only expect
Nvidia or Unity to change.
A relevant fix has been released in Nux 3.10 recently. Please make sure
your libnux packages are at 3.10 or later.

packages in PPA
2 - After installing those packages, we should reboot the system

debugging output so I wasn't aware of any segmentation fault but I know
that I was booting by default into a black screen, and I had to but into
one of the back-up kernels that grub keeps handy and run ppa-purge.

This time with the kernel 3.7.0-030700rc2 it was even worst then before.
It works for a while (about an hour-two) then it freezes again. After the
restart the whole X session becomes unresponsive, second restart the same.
Now I'm back on the 3.6.2-030602-generic (this kernel change solved the

fglrx will not load at all on my AMD/ATI RS780 chip set (on my mobo).
Doesn't seem to make much difference, as my system runs just fine in DVI
