Another test: I got an HDMI switch box (Ligawo HDMI Matrix 4-2 - 3D,
with audio extractor) now, to connect more than one video/audio source
to one HDMI input of a screen. It seems that the device fakes a better
HDMI monitor input than the passive HDMI-DVI switch as during a new

I still have this bug with the Legacy drivers. Disabling gpu vsync fixes
the problem, but certain pages wont load and certain plugins wont work
correctly.

upgrade from quantal? One diff between them is the mesa release, quantal
has 9.0 and raring has 9.0.1.

When I tried to configure my display using the nvidia-settings package from
Quantal repository, I meet the error message: The NVIDIA X driver on (...) is
not new enough to support the nvidia-settings Display Configuration page.. It
makes sense, because I'm using the legacy

It did just happen to me again.
Sorry Bryce, it happens at random. The only common thing that I can seem
to come up with is that it normally seems to happen while switching
workspaces.
I'm still on Linux version 3.7.0-7-generic as 3.8 hasn't shown up for
installing
I bisected this issue down to being fixed by this commit.
