When I click with a mouse, it is fairly easy to not move the mouse while

I am having the same issue. When using skype after a minute or two
memory usage starts climbing and then swap starts climbing, eventually
memory gets to about 80% and swap goes to 100%, of course everything
comes to a screeching halt and system locks up and sometimes crashes.

I was having the exact same issue as Marcin Domanski #149. In addition,
I was having screen artifacts.
Switching from the proprietary Nvidia version current to post-release
updates fixed the issue (for 30 minutes now). Hopefully will continue
and work for you!
