baltasarq, I meant EXA without DisableTile. We know already that the
latter works.
Anyway, I got the chance to look at this and was able to reproduce using
the lts-quantal stack. Trying EXA just after XAA had messed up caused a
total lock-up, but after reboot EXA seems to work, although things loo
I tested this on Ubuntu 12.04 now and since I can't reproduce the bug
anymore I wanted to close this report - but I don't know how (is 'Fix
Released' the correct status, even if we don't know how the bug was

For reproduce, I'm sorry that I can't really help much. It just happens in
general use. Often times its when I'm using firefox and scrolling. My browser
window is always on the second display (non-laptop display) and scrolling seems
to likely trigger it.
Sorry for being very vague.
Seems to be a problem with the nouveau driver as setting nomodeset in
grub allows the kernel to boot, although 3D acceleration then doesn't
work.

Sorry for the delay.
I have installed a vanilla Raring (Build of 23 February) for testing purposes
and tested right away the HDMI support. SO this is what I obtained so far:
- HDMI is indeed recognized: When I plug the HDMI Cable in the laptop's HDMI
port and the monitor, the monit
