Working with Ubuntu 13.04. It worked fine at first, but after connecting
two different monitors (VGA connection) with different configurations
(and placement of them), when I connect any of them, they just hang!!

As noted in

gksu-properties was set to su instead of sudo.
Wasn't related to amdcccle.
I had exact the same issue when trying to upgrade the VirtualBox Extension pack.
Both act normal now.

Sorry it was too simple. Actually I've launched once the cairo-dock by
activating the option w/o openGL. The dock have kept in memory this
choice! By forcing the option -o it's not better!

Trust 16784 joystick is detected on /dev/input/js0, but if i cat it i don't get
any input (this is a simple way to test an input device: if pressing buttons
you see scrambled characters, it works). Also, any calibration program detects
it but can't get any
I applied (apt-get source, patch -p1, dpkg-buildpackage -b, dpkg -i) the
patch against the current ubuntu stock kernel (3.8.0-25-generic) but to
no avail, a mplayer with xv will instantly result in the lockup state.
Due to that I have configured my mplayer to use the gl backend which is

Note that with IVB and MSAA I see lots of corruption with large swaths
of memory being overwritten with pixel values (lots of 0x
especially). That would include the possibility of overwritting context
memory. Isolating MSAA in mesa would be tricky... perhaps a hack to
disable?

Sorry to spam the bug report, but the solution listed in the above bug
report did nothing. I just had my 4th lockup today.
Any ideas to get STA working on 3.9/3.10 to do further testing?
Otherwise this will be a dead end for the time being as I cannot swap
