Even if Disable touchpad while typing is selected under Mouse and
touchpad, the touchpad doesn't ever get disabled.

Hi, guys!
On a fresh install, the Hardware drivers thing always kindly offers to
install the NVidia proprietary drivers (if you have an NVidia card, of
course). You choose to install them, eventually the machine reboots, and
Unity fails to load or loads in some kind of
P.S. I explicitly entered into the form that I do not know which
package this relates to (that's a real put off, BTW. I have no idea
about internal names of all those components.). IMO it is not a bug in
the NVidia proprietary driver. IN any case, consider this a bug report
to LaunchPad ;)

Having the same issue here, had to to install another window manager to
get ubuntu working since unity needs 3d acceleration. Also tried re-
installing the flgrx but at the reboot I only have the shell running and
kinda got it to work back like it was before the re-install I guess this
has

experimental) on Saucy/Precise; however you need to set your nvidia driver into

log out is 800% slower than usual (pre 13.10), now around 10 sec.
On nvidia hardware, 8400m gs, doesn't matter if nouveau or nvidia, (currently
3.10 kernel, 319 drivers), current, newer or older kernels inc. raring's,
lightdm or gdm, ect., 10 secs on/with all combos.
