Recently, there have been some library updates which also included
xserver-xorg-core
I have been observing my machine since, and the problem of fans running
constantly has vanished, atleast for now.
Can someone else confirm this please??

I installed Ubuntu 14.04.1 on my machine. It is an old machine with
Nvidia 7050 onboard graphics. On boot it shows me the login screen but
after logging it either freezes immediately or it freezes when I open

-I use Evolution since 14.04. it didn't appear in 14.04. It started appearing
when updating to 14.10.
- This Problem occurs just in Evolution. The @ works fine in all other programs
I use.

Same with a Dell PowerEdge T630.
The workaround works fine but windows control is not smooth as with a standard

These is not happening any more. I guess it may have been fixed in a
recent software update.

Met with the same problem. Guest are running Ubuntu 14.04 kylin .
vmware video card works well. cirrgus , qxl and std make the
desktop corrupted.
