I can reproduce this bug by opening and closing videos with Totem. Takes
less than 20 videos and then I am back to a terminal for about 15

Just tried using Kernel 4.1.0-040100 and then attempted to install both
fglrx and fglrx-updates. Both installed, and upon reboot there is a
working desktop, but it's not the Catalyst driver that's running.
It's defaulting back to stock Mesa 11.0.2, even though Additional
Drivers states that the

This is an expected problem, as Mir does not yet implement pointer
grabs, which is what toolkits use
I'm not sure if its entirely related to this bug. Several times I have
had the screen blacked out during normal use. It doesn't happen to me
nearly as frequently as the log in issue, but is problematic . dpms
event restores the screen.

Strange artifacts on top of the Unity

Both fglrx and fglrx-updates will return a black screen of death upon
reboot after installation. The only way to revive the system is to do a
fresh install.

There's only one last official version in official repos I didnt't try:
- nvidia-304.128
But this is not worth trying because it has no prime support.

After configuring fonts and log out and log in,everything seems just
fine :
Your locale is broken, which explains it. You need to change the LANG
value to pt_BR.UTF-8.
