Happened 2 nights in a row. Leave the laptop plugged in and turned on, in the
morning system is unresponsive. capslock light doesn't change.

Here are clues of the issue. In all cases, I was suddenly logged out.
Issue happens everyday and started approximately 2 weeks ago.

I hit this today when upgrading from 15.04 to 15.10 on Dell with hybrid
graphics. It booted into safe graphics mode, offering a list of graphic
operations to try. I didn't touch that and instead ssh'd into the
system.
There I looked at /etc/apt/sources.list and saw that wiley-updates was
libclc builds fine with llvm-3.8, is that sufficient?

resolution, which translates to 174x171 DPI by trivial calculation. The
panel size is correctly reported by edid:

No, llvm-3.8 doesn't help here. I'm trying to avoid xenial having two
llvms in main. Right now our default, supported llvm is llvm-3.6. So
either we switch libclc to use our supported version, or we switch our
supported version to be the one libclc uses.
