Unable to log in to Xorg session. I got dumped back to the login screen.
I was able to log in using Wayland.
I did a full update in CLI but was still unable to successfully log in to Xorg.

I finally managed to make dell's technical service change my micron hard drive
to a different one, obviously the computer didn't fail anymore. He never got
stuck again. Also install ubuntu 18.04 offered in dell downloads, but I will
return to ubuntu 20. Thank you all for your help.

The screen is distorted/scrambled every now and then. That is, it's like
a few lines of pixels are repeated (so it's a normally a blur). The
screen also flickers at times. This happens a few times a few. I've
noticed that if I close the lid and let the screen
it sarted working again as usueal with
