I'm also experiencing this bug. OS: Linux Mint 21.3 Xfce.
I have an external monitor whose native resolution is 5120×1440 px. I
earlier used it in a reduced resolution of 3840×1080 px, before figuring
out how to get the native resolution. The command xrandr still lists the
3840×1080 mode I added e

I installed 24.04 and was able to try the test version from your PPA
location w/ our DG2 device. And It worked good!. Thanks!

Since this only adds a keyboard layout and doesn't change defaults, this should
be fine.
