This is affecting me on Mythbuntu 16.0.4.3 - with all updates applied as
of 10.09.2017. Machine is an Intel NUC NUC6CAYS.
Display is a Panasonic TV connected via HDMI.
As with other users above running xrandr --output 'DP-1' --mode
'1920x1080' brings the display back to life, as does restarting
