If this still an issue, please check with the libinput tools.
sudo libinput debug-events
I got the currency keys working on the Acer TravelMate 5735Z [1].
[1]:
Is this still a problem with *xserver-xorg-input-libinput*, which
replaces *xserver-xorg-input-evdev*?

As written in the Debian reports using the SNA backend fixes this issue
on my Eee
There are also some reports suggesting this happens with 945GM/GMS too.
Could the bug title be updated please to reflect that please?

15:09 danvet 3.4 should have the fix, so retesting with that one might be
worth a shot
Could someone please try Linux kernel 3.4 and also 3.5? In Debian they

As mentioned earlier Ubuntu 12.04 with intel drm 2.17 doesn't see any change
in
the issue when using DebugFlushBatches.
Alright. I have to test this.
DebugFlushWait isn't a recognised option.

I can confirm that the issue is still occurring (and is reproducible within 30
seconds using the original steps) in the Fedora 17 and Ubuntu 12.04 betas
(which are using v2.18 and v2.17 of the intel driver).
This issue is also reproducible with
On #intel-gfx suggested having to use `DebugWait` is an indicator of a
Linux kernel bug.
20:34 ickle that hints towards a kernel bug
20:34 ickle of the sort fixed by the unfenced blt patch
This should be in Linux 3.4 and definitely in 3.5. So it would be great
if somebody could test
