Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I have to major issues at the moment. 1. I can't get the screen resolution beyond 1024x768. If i try to put it higher ( 1360 x 768 ) a part of the right part of my screen goes black, but the top menu stays good. 2. When the laptop is in a docking station and i connect an external monitor to it and put that one to a higher resolution i have the same issues as mentioned in issue 1. I had the same issues with 10.10 and upgraded to 11.04 with the hope it would solve the issues. Hereby some specs: # uname -a Linux rpijnenburg-laptop 2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:24 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux # lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available.
