I set a sapphire theme back in 2007 (it was packaged in Ubuntu) or so

Discussed upstreaming with Pitti; we currently carry this locale as a
patch to glibc - upstream didn't want it, so it doesn't make sense to
try to get into xlib upstream. We should try to remove the duplication
in general making patches like this be unnecessary.

This could be video driver/metacity/xorg related - I'm not sure at this
point.
Anyhow, firing up inkscape and just resizing the window for a minute
pushes Xorgs appparent memory use up by about 10MB.
Closing inkscape doesn't release the memory.
