Those two screenshotss show a flickering, that very often appears on
windows. On 12.04.1 you would instead see a pulsating window while the
process seems to not respond for a moment. On 12.10 you get instead a
flickering transparent frame around the window, that also seems to
remove a part of the

When I open a pdf file with evince in 12.04 LTS Beta 1, the window
doesn't show up in the switcher pressing ALT+TAB, and instead of an
arrow, a symbol is left beside it in the launcher, but using CTRL+ALT
+SHIFT-RIGHT, moving evince to another workspace, brings back evince
with the arrow symbol
