Public bug reported: So, this started about a week ago after an update from Ubuntu. I can initially login with XWayland, but something loading after the desktop appears, causes the session to exit. The only thing I can find relevant in the logs at the timestamp this occurred are the following:

I found that in my situation it was the upgrade not working good with some config settings in my ~/home. When I was beta testing, I don't think the Ubuntu developers considered that many problems are associated with upgrades. Once I did a clean install, this situation was gone. On Wed, Sep 12,
