YES Thank you emlodnaor, your fix also solved the problem on my two card, three monitor NVidia configuration. Using the NVIDIA Server Settings tool ($sudo apt-get install nvidia- settings) to arrange the screens so their sequence is 0, 1, 2 did indeed solve the problem for me. Cursor jumping

This bug is driving me crazy because the IBM ThinkPad it affects is used by my kids, they can't understand why closing and opening the lid makes the cursor permanently disappear. The workarounds are amateurish to them. I get to listen to Windows didn't do this every time it happens. -- You
