miPointer*: Invalid input device pointer lines in Xorg.0.log are coming from the patch 169_mipointer_nullptr_checks.patch in xorg- server (seems to be an Ubuntu patch). Perhaps this bug insert some side effects ?... It was proposed to resolve this bug :
