Sometimes, while using my computer, everything on the screen just
freezes (but audio keeps playing) and then a couple seconds later,
everything is black (and audio stops at this point), and then I am

Essentially, my graphics are usntable. The display moves up and down
rapidly in a flickering-like fashion whenever I turn on my Lenovo

I can reproduce this kernel panic by doing the following (from a fresh
kubuntu install)
1.) Home directories are NFS-mounted (SSO with kerberos LDAP)

While upgrades have their share of issues, this is also not the forum to
complain about the Ubuntu upgrade process.
Had you read the release notes, you would have done better to avoid
upgrading until a better solution arose.
