Xmir -rootless: Fullscreen apps never go full screen
To manage
side effects, some strings corruption is some apps (note: i can't
reliably reproduce this bug, but i see it happen occasionally when
running apps with Xmir, video players, games)

corrupted mouse pointer icon (see attaches screenshot, the mouse pointer is
hovering places/Home on the file manager app, the orange block/square)
mostly i see when i run apps with Xmir, maybe stuff that uses SDL, mpv,
neverball
and it's only the
gnome-chess log. (if i manually launch gnome-chess with Xmir it works
fine, same native, it only doesn't work if i launch from the
launcher/app drawer)

probably, btw.. did something change in the way the apps are launched?
so after a reboot i've launched gnome chess from launcher, the app
started (without Xmir) and worked great. but then i closed the app and
the second time it tried to launch with Xmir but failed to load. (not
sure why it tried
same here 17.04 when using Xmir, without Xmir the apps seems to start
logs from supertux2 (sdl)

hm.. i think the bug is Qt? gtk mir apps seems to work fine.
the problem is with Qt/KDE apps and ubuntu apps. ubuntu terminal is
black, the dash is black, in music app i can see the background but it
doesn't have any content, same with the settings

only move tux once and then stops... it looks like keyboard repeat rate
is 0? (not to mention that it takes ages to open apps from Xapps)

i think there is something wrong with nouveau/mesa 11.0.0, i get all
sort of crashes after the last mesa landed

nouveau: kernel rejected
with Xmir :0 -sw -damage i occasionally see some random pixels when i

probably start bugging the nouveau people :D
