libxcb in quantal already has the fix backported to it, see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/quantal/+source/libxcb/1.8.1-1ubuntu1 It's too late to update to 1.9 completely, we are past final freeze for 12.10 and it'll come in the 13.04 cycle. ** Changed in: libxcb (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided
