Public bug reported: Hi,
intel-opencl-icd still depends on libllvm12, whereas almost all other Debian/Ubuntu packages depend on newer llvm versions: # apt install intel-opencl-icd Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Reading state information... Done The following additional packages will be installed: libclang-cpp12 libigc1 libigdfcl1 libigdgmm12 libllvm12 libllvmspirvlib12 libopencl-clang12 ocl-icd-libopencl1 The following NEW packages will be installed: intel-opencl-icd libclang-cpp12 libigc1 libigdfcl1 libigdgmm12 libllvm12 libllvmspirvlib12 libopencl-clang12 ocl-icd-libopencl1 0 upgraded, 9 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. Need to get 44.8 MB of archives. After this operation, 201 MB of additional disk space will be used. Would it be possible to update intel-opencl-icd such that it depends on a more recent llvm version?
