still reproducible on my dell xps 13 9360 with the latest 2024-02-29 17:40 build
it is also crushes at the end of installation when you launch the installer
manually

I can't seem to reproduce any such issue with 2024-01-17 here.

I tried daily build version 2024-01-17, but the bug is still there.
Laptop is Fujitsu WUA/H1. The solution is to restart subiquity snap
service.

Today install from ISO dated 24-01-16 created a working system despite
install ends with "install failed" see bugs 2049491,2049495 (I tried 2
times)

Just to give a data point, mesa/23.3.3-1ubuntu1 fixes many issues with
snaps and LibGL on my laptop, namely:
- white blank screen when opening firmware-updater snap
- no OpenGL hardware acceleration but software rendering only in chromium snap,
and missing background effect in Google Meet
>From what I read of overnight discussions, it is believed that Mesa
23.3.3 has a fix. Looks like some kind of GLX protocol breakage happened
in 23.3.0?
