I attempted to run apport-collect but it crashed during upload.
I installed xserver-xorg-input-wacom and xorg now starts successfully.
Attached current Xorg log. The only thing configured in my Xorg.conf is
the radeonhd driver, I'm not forcing Xorg to use the wacom device (it
appears to be activat

none here in the bugtracker..

I need the new log, the old one is useless. Run 'apport-collect 441102'
to attach the data here. It certainly shouldn't stop the xserver from
starting if wacom didn't support the device. It should just unload the
module.

I am currently running Lucid. It still prevents Xorg from starting. This
is due to the wacom driver not supporting my installed
touchscreen/digitizer, an N-trig device.

Ok, looks like N-Trig support needs to be removed from the fdi file, so
that it doesn't try to load wacom when it's present. The current driver
version doesn't seem to support it anymore (same with WALTOP devices).
