The automatic bug reporting tools had some problems when this bug was
reported, which results in very few logs being collected. There has also
been some important updates that may have resolved or changed the
appearece of this bug. I think it is easier for both you and us if you
file a new bug
The problem has appeared to go away for me. About two weeks after
filing the report, I wiped my machine and re-installed Ubuntu 9.10 with
what I believe was all the packages I had previously added, except for
all those that use KDE. Whatever the reason, I have not had the problem
since the

My crash dialog says that apport-gpu-error-intel.py, and when I report
it I get directed to log an error here under xserver-xorg-video-intel.
I assume this is intended behavior, and that apport isn't itself
actually crashing (contrary to my original post), but please let me know
if I should be
