Using the Fn keys to decrease/increase screen brightness, the screen begins
to flicker, while the screen brightness bar display toggles between two values.
This fault occurs
Does anyone know if this bug is fixed in 10.10? I am assuming not.
This isn't as bad as it was in Karmic but it is still horrible.

I also face the same problem with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
Details:
1. Issue occurs when running on battery power and is reduced(with a little
flickering at bottom of the screen) or almost gone when connected to AC power
adapter.
2. The screen also flickers while booting. However it is maximum on
