Public bug reported:
The only choice I had in Additional drivers was nvidia-current (at this
time 260.19.06). After installing it, I can see ugly (as usual with
proprietary drivers) boot splash screen, but gdm never shows up and the
system is completely useless (no key working, can't go into terminal).
There's only empty violet background. I had to reboot system and go into
failsafe mode.
