HAY! 2.6.32-20 works very fine on my i-ru notebook. But after upgrading

metacity right now and it is still very painful to scroll up and down
(dragging the window around is pretty awful, too). I believe this is a
separate bug that needs reporting.

There is a static on screen (it feels to me like the refresh rate is off
by a fraction). I can't seem to set coherent mode on LVDS using xrandr.

Done. May not help though. I mentioned in a previous email what I
think was causing the problem for me. Now I am running a full 9.1
installation, so the info you are looking for may not be here.
The boot cd issue has not gone away, but to do so you need to find the
correct BUSID for the
apport information
