At first I thought this bug was caused with the recent changes in open-
vm-tools 10.1.10; however, after restoring my VM to the snapshot that
had 17.04 and re-performing the dist-upgrade with open-vm-tools and
open-vm-tools-desktop held at 10.1.5 I am experiencing the same
additional information about when one doesn't hold the package back
(note the error from VMWare Workstation 12.5).
Same thing happens even if the open-vm-tools and open-vm-tools-desktop
are held at 10.1.5.
** Attachment added: "OS updates breaks open-vm-tools-desktop.png"
it is resolved at fedora 26 with xfce, I dont know with previous
versions.

My two external displayport connected displays worked fine until last thursday.
After bringing my laptop to the same HP dock station three days later, they
stayed blank no matter what.
Displays are seen by X (other of them was powered off during the bug report)
and
Continued the battle for additional 1.5 hours.
I verified that both displays work fine when connected directly to the laptop
(1 DP) without the HP ultraslim docking station (2 DPs) between.
After powering off the docking station and rebooting the system for Nth
time, I finally got the pictures
that's a bug in the padoka packaging..

>From settings I open Printers and click on settings (gear icon) for my
printer which bring up a pop-up with printer details (name , location,
address, etc). There is no way to close this pop-up. Instead of a top
toolbar there is thin dark line. The pop-up cannot be moved.
It seems that xterm freezes more frequently when scrolling in larger
files in vim using vertical splits. The effect seems to be present
regardless of using tmux splits or vim splits. The effect is worse for
me when using vim-splits (which always results in laggy scrolling in all
terminals I've
no reason to file these bugs, I'm well aware of the upstream release
schedule
