@Pieroxy - Sorry to hear that because I've had no system hangs since I switched to the proprietary AMD drivers 5 days ago. Maybe you could buy a newer graphics card; they don't cost that much if a low-powered one is sufficient for your needs. (Unless you were referring to your motherboard...)
