[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1610434] Re: Ubuntu GNOME Trusty HWE upgrade fails to install libwayland-egl1-mesa-lts-xenial
I have no idea why I had that previous failure. I've since run two more tests. One was a repeat test beginning with a fresh install of Ubuntu GNOME 14.04.3 i386 (just like above) and it worked fine. I ran another test beginning with a fresh install of Ubuntu GNOME 14.04.2 amd64 and it also worked just fine. I'm going to run one additional test beginning with 14.04.4 just to be sure, but I think that one failure must have been a fluke - or something I did wrong. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-lts-xenial in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1610434 Title: Ubuntu GNOME Trusty HWE upgrade fails to install libwayland-egl1-mesa- lts-xenial To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/1610434/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1568604] Re: Mouse cursor lost when unlocking with Intel graphics
Moreover, if you would like to build intel driver manually, you can use steps bellow (your own risk, I checked only for 14.04.5 and 16.04.1). $ git clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel $ cd xf86-video-intel $ docker run -v `pwd`:/build -i -t ubuntu:14.04 /bin/bash # apt update && apt upgrade && apt install build-essential dh-autoreconf xutils-dev xorg-dev git # ./autogen.sh # make # exit $ find ./ -name intel_drv.so $ sudo apt purge xserver-xorg-video-intel* cp ./src/.libs/intel_drv.so /usr/local/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/ You can install intel driver from repo using: $ sudo apt purge xserver-xorg-video-intel-{VERSION} P.S. May be it makes sense to create Dockerfile :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1568604 Title: Mouse cursor lost when unlocking with Intel graphics To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/elementaryos/+bug/1568604/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
