When using intel videocard and xserver-xorg-video-intel,
- mattermost desktop
- visual studio code
and postman
do not render correctly, hovering the mouse over the window generates
white square artifacts. Blinking contents tend to disappear...

I was hoping this would have been fixed with today's updates, as the
xorg update mentioned something in the terms of 'prevent nvidia
regression'. But alas, still need to manually boot kernel 4.13 to get
beyond lightdm.

The recent upgrade from MESA 17.2.8 to 18.0.5 is causing the icons of some
applications bundled with Ubuntu 16.04 to be displayed incorrectly in the
