I removed USB dongle and reinserted it and the scroll wheel normalized, but
mouse's clicks began to fail again. :(

The mouse didn't stopped responding, but changed scroll wheel behavior. It
is too sensitive, jumping the page, making it impossible to be used.
Running in Wayland it maintains its normal behavior.

It seems to have been solved after logging in Ubuntu on Wayland.
Now I am on default Ubuntu and nothing is happening anymore.
I continue testing it.

Public bug reported:
I cannot work with my Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse on Ubuntu
18.04.3.
It worked normally on Ubuntu 16.04, but now it presents a lot of
instabilities.
I can move the pointer but cannot click anything. The scroll doesn't
work too.
When I change the mouse to another one,
Christopher,
I could check the system right now.
It's working very well.
It's apparently solved.
Thank you very much for your attention.
