Yesterday, while working, my KDE unexpectedly crashed (blank screen, login 
screen shortly after).
There was no monitor switching, external plug events, resolution switching etc. 
involved.

This was the first time that happened, after running Ubuntu on this
machine for several months (first 11.10, now 12.04 since about 1 month).
