nvidia propietary driver fails
For me the font corruption has become much better on IBM Thinkpad X41
since November 2011. Even after sending the the laptop to standby for
several time, I get hardly corruption.

Unsubscribing sponsors as per Martin Pitt's comment #21, as the patch is
not suitable for SRU.
However, I've gone ahead and fleshed out the SRU request in the

xserver-xorg-video-vmware 11.99.901-0ubuntu1 was built with XA, which
enabled virtualized passthrough of 3D acceleration. In version 12.0.1-1
of the package, XA was not enabled, which resulted in 3D acceleration
being disabled. As a result I could no longer run the regular
