As far as I can tell the patch for hwdb sensitivity for Dell Latitude
E7470 is shipped in zesty now.
Is anything else required to have this resolved in zesty? Or hwdb update
is all that is needed here? If that is the case, then we can remove all
the other packages marked as affected and simply

As comment #117 suggests, disabling tlp fixes it for my Broadwell

I made an attempt at a workaround for nouveau crashes today (and
discovered more nouveau bugs).
I can confirm with mir-demos that forcing the compositor into single-
threaded mode makes it stable. The only problem is the unity-system-

There is buggy nvidia-375 (at least) from the archive; i'm using
nvidia-378 fromm the X ppa, and it works well.
note: reports against nvidia drivers exist on launchpad. What happen
