Using the same hardware (MBA 3,1) I've had the same screen corruption on every
alpha and beta release of natty so far. The corruption happens with nouveau
only, and can only be avoided by either:
1. Adding the kernel option nomodeset; or
2. Installing the proprietary Nvidia driver, which
Switched package to nouveau-kernel-source. This bug occurs from boot-up
onward when using KMS/nouveau.

Actually, the primary leak in _XEnq is going to happen to any OpenGL
app, not just compiz. And the secondary leak in
PrivateScreen::processEvents() is caused completely by the primary leak.

work then that confirms there is a problem with the driver. or hardware
(probably driver). Because that option should give you flawless silky-
smooth graphics so long as vsync or SwapBuffersWait support is enabled

Thanks Darcy. That's a new one to me, but Google shows a lot of people
with the same problem using the fglrx driver.
I know there are installation and uninstallation problems with the fglrx
driver causing the wrong GLX libraries to be present and rendering
OpenGL useless.

I figured this was driver behaviour unique to fglrx so it's not
surprising it happens on Windows too. However we might yet be able to
work around it in Compiz.
