holding slowly ALT then SHIFT then some letter key, then release all one
by one - if the keyboard layout has not changed, then the issue is still
resolved.

I have ran the tool a few times because it seemed to be crashing - at
first it wouldn't run at all complaining about missing PyQT, so I
installed python-qt-binding; then it seemed to be crashing due to
missing pathlib, so I installed that as well and ran it again.

Running on current trusty (though is has been going on for a while),
when I'm using KDE and I switch to another VT, when I get back into KDE
the X server is eating up all the CPU (of one core). After a few
minutes it settles down.

Nvidia Optimus. I am *not* using nvidia-prime, as that setup didn't work
for me, instead I'm using the bumblebee setup where X is configured only

I may be able to get my hands on such a device to try it, but that is a
long shot. If reproducing on an updated T420 is required to continue

I see similar issues with GM915, but only on KDE - it doesn't happen for
me with GNOME. I see similar artifacts all the time in KDE4, so I think

I have a regression in Karmic: after living with the "green" drivers for
a couple of week and everything was fine, I upgraded to Karmic on
Thursday and ever since I had multiple freezes. I don't know if this is
related to this bug, but I'll assume that it is unless someone tell me

Attached the lspci output. I don't think I am experiencing the "infinite
loop" bug, as I could not find the report error message in the Xserver
log files. I did not see any error messages in the log files, for that
