There is no evtouch driver, at least for natty. For evdev there is
xinput-calibrator, but it's still waiting in the NEW queue.

First of all, middlemouse emulation has been off by default since evdev
2.6.0 was uploaded on Fri, 28 Jan. So if you were able to shift+click
launch after that, the bug is somewhere else. Second, I can't understand
how it could even be due to the current defaults, since you're using a
