Since upstream seems to have dropped the maintenance of Pitivi, I just
posted to the ubuntu-desktop mailing list:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-
desktop/2014-October/004555.html
Please feel free to add your input on the list.

Bug 1137630 requests that emoji support should be added to the desktop.
This seems reasonable to me and I've therefore seeded ttf-ancient-fonts-
symbola in desktop-common. However it needs to be in main before it can
be added to ubuntu-meta.
I suspect that a font package
merged in debian is wrong, as there's nothing to merge. But yes, it's
true that this can be synced. However, Blender 2.71 is a significant
feature release so I'm not comfortable going right ahead and syncing it:
http://www.blender.org/features/2-71/
Please get a feature freeze exception

Bugs,
LGTM, though a bit annoying that it seems we have a split package that
Debian isn't likely to adopt as well. But a simple package all around.
Archive admins, looks like we only need to promote ttf-ancient-fonts-
symbola to main.

Status: New = Fix
Hi colin, I mean, the ubuntu changes have been cherry-picked in
debian, so a sync should be enough.
However let's wait for 15.04, I won't ask a ffe for a package I don't
personally use and know.
