GIMP has introduced HiDPI support a while back and provides Icon Theme
in the settings.
I have a 4K display set to 2x scaling.
GIMP starts by default with tiny icons (Guess icon size from resolution
in Preferences).
If I change this to "Use icon size from the theme" - the

When opening a 5.1 test audio file, and using a 5.1 sound system, the
sounds are reproduced in the wrong speakers.
This has been confirmed with Ubuntu 18.04 and Ubuntu 20.04.
As confirmation test:
VLC outputs the correct sounds to each speaker.
