The error occurs installing Ubuntu 18.04
Other error. When I start Gimp:
It appears that you are using GIMP for the first time. GIMP will now
create a folder named '/home/lex/.config/GIMP/2.10' and copy some files
to it.

This is a package conflict between an official an Ubuntu package and a
package from a PPA. You'll need to switch to the official version of the
gimp package to resolve the situation.

On 18.04, Re install doesn't fix the issue.
Something is fundamentally broken with 18.04.
Many of the applications that worked on 16.04 no longer work. Inkscape,
Virtualbox, VLC, etc. All complains of missing something something.

As a temporary workaround, downgrading libgs9-common, libgs9 and
ghostscript packages to version 9.21 from the Artful repositories helps.
